Well Here We Are.

We made it to The New House on the weekend.  It is still very chaotic here, but I have managed to unpack the kitchen and the bedrooms so we are functioning.

I will write a proper blog post in the next few days but thought I would show you this photo of the main living area in The New House.

Kitchen Room

The kitchen still needs some painting finished off and the glass splashback thingy to go in.  I like it though.

I am trying not to look in the garden at present as it is all grown over and messy.  It reminds me of a student house garden from my university days.  If I looked outside and saw a twenty year old girl having a smoke whilst wearing rainbow tights, a crocheted vest and Doc Martens I would not be at all surprised.

Looks lovely! So light and bright. Very jealous.

Also - I hear you on the garden situation. My lawn is basically all weeds. I have a lot of work to do out there.

lol - love your description of the garden. Can't wait to see more photos. Don't forget to stop and have a cuppa and put your feet up occasionally. It will all get done in good time. Thanks for sharing. xxx

Looks great, how exciting that you are in! The garden will come together, it always does, give it time to reveal itself, there are probably gems out there that will take till spring and summer to show you they are there.

OMG if you could just see my kitchen you will understand just how great my kitchen envy is right now. I want to ask for more photos, but am stopping myself b/c they might send me over the edge!

What a great house. You'll be so happy there, enjoy!!

What a warm inviting space. Can't wait to see pics of the whole house (and the overgrown garden). It sounds very 'bohemian'! LOL

I always wondered what to call my kitchen room and now I know. It's sort of living, sort of dining, sort of kitchen. It looks lovely!!

See, now I'm going backwards! Love the sneak preview. It's hard work moving, and I understand the mess it feels for a little while.

Hang in there, it really does get better! xx
