A Flower For A Thursday.

I was planning a decent post today but have been up most of the night with a sick and coughing Farmgirl.  Poor baby.  We seem to be through the worst of it though so I am figuring things will go up from here.

My poor sleep deprived brain is not up for a post of any substance so I thought I would just pop up this beautiful flower.

Jonquil

Our plan for the day is to snuggle up on the couch and keep cosy.

I hope you all have a wonderful Thursday.

Take care, AFW!

Hope Farmgirl gets well soon. With lots of lemonade and icy poles as per accepted medical guidelines....

Aww poor farmgirl, hope she feels better soon! Have you tried a vapouriser? They are my winter magic good night sleep solution. XXX

Our vapouriser was going non-stop. They are just brilliant, aren't they?

After the morning I've had, I wish I could join you! Have 17 yr old daughter home from school with a lip that has blown up from an allergy (?) and 20 year old daughter in Adelaide (400ksm away) has a computer virus and rang me in tears! Everyone wants a piece of me! Sigh!
Hope your farmgirl is soon better - I can't wait to get home from work and try out my couch!

We have been lucky so far this year in our house...no sickies yet!

Hope you both get some rest today and that the sickness passes quickly...

I will settle for a simple flower picture, it is beautiful :)

Take care,

That is a gorgeous flower picture. I hope that the day has seen a great improvement in the farmgirl's health. Vapourisers are brilliant - although when I was 4 I decided to give myself some medicine and drank the vapouriser fluid! A quick hospital visit later and there doesn't seem to have been any lasting damage, although my parents do tell me I smelt vaguely of eucalyptus for about a week.

Winter is nearly over, germs begone. Love your garden fresh jonquils, I had to make do with a bunch of daffodils from the shops for my taste of spring.

I always wish it was me and not my kids being sick, coz 1. we can take the pain, and 2. we can take better, stronger medicines to get us through!
