I was standing at my kitchen sink when I remembered this and quickly snapped this photo. In retrospect I probably should had tidied up and "styled" things a bit more. Oh well...

The garden is still in a bare bones form. Although if you look beyond the dry stone wall, the canola crop is looking pretty good!
Take care.

I would LOVE to be surrounded by beautiful rolling yellow canola, we have beautiful green rolling hills here dotted with lamb puffs but still ;) Will have to get on the sink bandwagon, mine's not too impressive but it's great idea! Loving your bare bones garden, dry stone walls look unreal.
Your kitchen view looks amazing - so beautiful. I love the look of the landscape beyond your garden area.
Wow love all the windows!
I love the view from your kitchen sink, it is so much better than mine...looks like you have nice bright sunshine over your way!
Just caught up on your recent posts (real life is interrupting SJW blog transmission too at the moment). Loved the garden snaps and can't wait to see what you do... also love the penguin cups, am reading Agatha Christie at the moment (after finishing Pride and Prejudice). Looking forward to more kitchen snaps. Happy Sunday... gxo
You say bare, I see beautiful, vibrant, varied colours! Your place looks incredible!

Does that fence at the edge of the veranda have a vine that will grow on it in summer? so it becomes a kind of courtyard? Its a very nice view, and if it has a vine it will be a nice little enclosure.
What a lovely corner window, what an amazing view - just divine. xxx
Gorgeous, gorgeous view. And if that is an unstyled, needs tidying kitchen you are a welcome visitor at Betsy's anytime. Could not link in with this linky as a view of a carport is hardly a good contribution.
How beautiful and I didn't even notice your kitchen sink. To live in the country would be wonderful but at our age we need good medical services so the suburbs it has to be. I am sure you feel so alive where you are with all that space.
Unstyled. It's still so beautiful. xx
