It was such a simple heartfelt service as the sun rose. Each year numbers grow at this service. I am glad that our nation is showing no signs of forgetting both the sacrifice made by previous generations and the true horror that is war.
Lest we forget.

Thanks for the link! We are at home today (too cold and wet to go into town) but I am watching the march on tv and talking to my kids about what it means. They are fortunate to know 2 of their great grandfathers, both of whom served in WW2, which makes it more personal!
I must admit I got a bit turned off the dawn service went I went to one at a military academy and it was more about "you to can go out and kill people" than "lets remember the fallen". Must get passed that and go to the War Memorial again, it is so very special.
