I had a funny day today. Busy, tiring and, by the end, I was more than a little grumpy. Ready to have a bit of a whinge. Now, it is no secret that I have had the odd run in with Telstra.
This blog post is still one of my favourites and obviously struck a chord with more than a few readers. So when I made it to 4pm this afternoon but still had a decent head of steam up, I had the perfect plan. I would ring Telstra to report the ongoing fault on our landline. The same landline that has had a work order on it since July of last year and is now completely useless as the crackling is so bad you can't hear a thing.
Deciding that if I was going to take the grumps out on anyone I would go for Telstra, I rang their customer service number. And you know what? I got perfect customer service. Couldn't fault it. (And trust me, I was spoiling for a fight...) So good in fact that I was a bit disappointed. The wind was completely taken out of my sails. I had to come home and have a glass of red instead.

It's ok though. I still have to get The Farmchildren through bedtime. With the level of naughtiness around bedtime in our house at present there is still a good chance for some argie-bargie if needs be.
Hope everyone has had an OK Monday.

That's great your telstra drama worked out.
I used the word 'argie-bargie' in a legal context today and I was 'poo-pooed' by my legal seniors.
Argie-bargie is a very under-estimated colloquialism.
I have always liked the word 'argie-bargie'. That many football commentators can't be wrong....

I know that feeling, spoiling for a fight and no fight forthcoming. Actually I do it best when I am withholding the fight and my OH is the one spoiling for it. I could play that game all day!
Feel free to have a go at Optus on my husband's behalf if you are still spoiling for argie-bargie! And.... as for the children, I threatened mine with boarding school yesterday. x
Amazing - didn't know this was possible. I still have nightmares about Telstra from my time spent in Sydney over a decade ago....
Gosh I love those shoes and that bracelet. I have no idea what the rest of the post was about, I was so mesmerised by your pretties!
