100 Followers On The Farm: Giveaway Time

I promised myself that if ever managed to make it to one hundred followers on this blog I would have a giveaway.  I realise that, in blog terms, a hundred followers is not huge but here on The Farm we are excited!  Yay!  So I have decided to celebrate with a giveaway.  Regular readers would know that I have the utmost respect for the CWA ladies.  So I decided to give away one of their books.

Look - isn't it lovely.

CWA - Cakes

To enter, all you have to do is follow Life In The Country and leave a comment or send me an email.  On 27th April I will randomly select a winner and announce it on the blog.  I am happy to post this book overseas too, so international entries are welcome.

In other baking news, I promised Fiona at Cattle, Kids and Chaos that I would link to the recipe for my almond cake from the last post.  It is a Belinda Jeffery recipe and if you press here it should take you to her website (which is gorgeous by the way....)

Ooh yay, this is so exciting! I see that as I type you are up at 105 followers! And that's just a fraction of people who read your blog in some way or another. Very cool. I remember the day it all began ... anyway big CONGRATULATIONS! xx

Congratulations on 100 readers!

You know, it's not quantity AFW, it's quality (that's what I tell myself as I cry myself to sleep).

You want readers who you can keep a grip on ... I can't imagine having 800 or 900 followers ... who would they all be? They wouldn't all comment, I can tell you that much!

Better to have 800 cows or sheep.

Hi there! You don't have to enter me, it's kind of a pain in the neck to send books to the USA from Australia. But I did want you to know that I really like your blog:).
