The Farmchildren - On Their "Best Behaviour".

Yesterday my stepmother-in-law (doesn't that sound like the worst fairytale ever? - don't worry it's not) became an Australian.  She is a proud Brit, but after living here for over twenty years decided to take the plunge.

We all dressed up in our good clothes and headed in to the local Shire for her ceremony.  The Farmchildren had been warned to be on their best behaviour.  They looked gorgeous and got through the ceremony quite well.  Afterwards though it all got a bit too much, so they headed outside and played chasey.

Farmgirl then took her shoes off and wandered into the garden to collect gum nuts.  By this time the Shire Council was getting ready to convene.  They thought it was hilarious.

Farmboy is back to school today.  He doesn't seem thrilled.  Hopefully it will go OK.

Welcome aboard Mrs Farmer's Wife's step-mother! Funny that it has taken 20 years to commit!
