Farmgirl was struggling with the noise and so I grabbed the noise canceling earphones The Farmer uses when he goes shooting. These have done the trick.

Unfortunately we only have two of these special head sets. I am making do with a strong cup of coffee and thinking happy thoughts. A glass of wine will be in order in an hour or so methinks.

Ah, we did the bathroom in our old house and yes, I have memories of jack hammering the tiles up. The wall tiles had actually been stuck on with concrete so the job was horrendous! Two glasses of wine, methinks!

I am longing for our renovation to be over. I have been without a kitchen since April!! The new kitchen has just been delivered and is sitting in boxes in the spare room but I can already see they have made mistakes with things... aaargh! Feel like crying but am trying hard to be zen about it! x
