Rainy Days.

It has been raining here on and off for days now.  It is so wonderful and has been one of the best starts to the season we have had for years.  I honestly think it would be over 8 years since we have had such a decent starting rain.  The country is green and the change from just a few weeks ago is amazing.
We should finish our seeding programme soon so it is lovely knowing that most of our crop is in and getting the benefit of the rain.

Green Crop and Muddy Driveway

So - we are happy farmers today.

PS - I was trying to write a longish post about all sorts of things however the internet is super slow here today and I have given up.  Will try again soon.

Been raining here too! Although rain has such different connotations for us city slickers....must be wonderful to see everything so green. Rx

I was looking at the weather map in the paper today and saw that most of WA is under the rain cloud - how wonderful to get your seeding off to such a good start. We've had a week of rain too... sadly that just equals mud at our place, now drying out to rock hard clay. xx

I'm glad your part of W.A. is seeing rain. Rain of any kind would be welcome on my brother's farm. Still VERY dry.

I still get excited about rain even though I live in 'town' now. You can take the girl out of the country.....
We have our eyes to the clouds and our fingers crossed today. It is forcast but so often it just doesn't make it.
Enjoy :)

So good to hear you've had rain. We've had a bit too and today is a freezing 12C. I have had to add another layer of clothing which is weird for me but I am still loving the cool weather.
