Stuff.

Long time no blog.  Have been too busy doing everyday stuff. You know the stuff that seems to take up so much time but no-one else notices you do? (Unless you stop.)  The housework, my day job, the garden and the never ending washing pile all seem to demand my attention on a daily basis.

Anyway - here are some other things that have been going on.

Farmboy has decided that we need a hero.  Let me introduce "Super Herbie".

Action Shot ie Blurry. Very Hard To Get A Cape-Wearing Sausage Dog To Stand Still. Obviously.

Farmgirl decided that she wanted curly hair.  This proved an initial problem as she has straightish hair on a good day and a tangled knotty mess on a bad one.  I was persuaded to try my hand with the curling wand.  GHD curls have always been beyond my skill level and seem to result in me burning my fingers.  So the below 'do was concoted with an old fashioned curling iron.

Beautiful.

The flowers are starting to drop off our canola.  They are supposed to about now so please don't worry.

Canola

I have lots of other things to show you - my garden is almost photo-ready.  It just needs a bit of a weed. Alternatively I could try and photoshop the weeds out... Will see which option is easier.  The Quarters reno is also almost done.  Just waiting for some furniture to arrive and should have some stuff to share in a week or so.

Best go - The Farmer has just come in from work and wants someone to have a glass of wine on the verandah with.  Given that I am the only other grown-up in the house I think that tasks falls to me!

Love farm girls hair! My 5 year old has curls, they look exactly like a lot of women that spend serious time with curling irons aim to achieve (straight on top, curl at the bottom), and she used to hate it! We spent a year pretending her hair was straight when she was 3, as she'd get so cross when someone complimented her on her beautiful curls. Now she loves them, having seen me burning myself on my own curling wand a million times.
Poor Herbie. Although he looks like he's enjoying himself.
Crop's looking good, sounds like things are ticking along nicely on the farm at the moment xx

Farm girls looks great, love the curls, wine sounds good, enjoy. Can't wait to see more of your photos, the canola looks so pretty with the yellow flowers, I admired lots of the canola flowers on my last trip to Geraldton.

I think the wine on the verandah is a necessary part of being a loving and supportive wife personally.

Oh, I do love that Herby the Wonder Dog!

Hey, thanks for letting me know about my dodgy link - I usually check them to make sure they work. I have put a different one on there that should work for you. The pasta was great and it makes quite a lot so good for hungry families.

Cheers - Joolz xx
