So today I am going to fill you in on what's going on in the agri side of our agribusiness. Basically our crops have been growing and growing and growing. This is a very good thing.
We have sprayed them for various diseases and fertilised them with a liquid fertiliser too. Some of this was done with a plane and some with our self propelled sprayers. I don't tend to get out into the paddock to take photos when spraying so this is the best I have got.

Now we will just wait a little longer and it will be time to start swathing canola in early October. Then our harvest will begin and we will be busy until Christmas. And so the dance goes on.
We are hoping for a good year but know it is not over yet.

Yay! I'll be hoping for a good season for you too. Lovely canola crop by the looks, fingers crossed! We're just about to start planting our potatoes, if it will ever. stop. raining! No, won't complain :p
Canola looks fab.
Where abouts in WA are you? I'm guessing by the looks of your pics, somewhere in the south-east. I have family at Kojonup. Am I warm???
We are more the central midlands area. Lucky enough to be in a very reliable spot....
Your fields look great, fingers crossed for a good crop.
I can't get over the colour of the Canola! Crossing my fingers and toes, as FF would say, for you! x
Love that pic of the driveway x
I always enjoy your beautiful scenery. Wishing you well with this crop.
You had me at "swathing canola." That sounds sexy.
There is something so beautiful about Canola isn't there?
I sure hope the weather is kinder than last year. Fingers (and everything else) crossed.
xx
Your photos are lovely - what a great driveway! Hope the crop goes well.
I hope the weather gods continue to smile on your crop, it looks to be coming along nicely. The driveway in the morning light looks lovely.
I think of you when I use Canola oil.
Go in hard with the nitrogen. I do in my teeny tiny patch of garden xxx
I love hearing about the farming side of your life - so different to what we have here!! It sounds so romantic to me - but I'm sure it's lots of hard work!
Your photos are completely gorgeous, by the way - I'm drooling!
